Refrigeration Technologies RT400P Viper WetRag - Reusable Heat Blocking Putty

Maintain your cool. WetRag is a heat blocking compound made from the same materials used in the heat shield of the space shuttle. It will block heat to protect valves and sensitive parts from damage during brazing, soldering, and welding. The unique formula contains a special dye that will fade over time letting you know it's time to replace the material.

Directions

1. Turn off or disconnect all power
2. Mold as much putty to the surface as you can for maximum protection
3. Welding techniques and applications will vary. Use additional safeguard materials to protect if necessary. Use low flame and flow nitrogen for added protection.
4. Braze, solder, or weld.
5. Allow surfaces to cool.
6. All Done!
