Boshart PPRA-1512 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" Polypropylene Barbed Insert Male Adapter

Poly insert fittings are economical and highly chemically resistant. They are great for pool and spa applications. Poly fittings can be chosen for use with aggressive chemicals or solvents that are not suited for PVC. Polypropylene is tough and fatigue resistant, although it is not as durable as nylon or PVC. 

• Manufactured to ASTM Standard D2609 (Standard Specification for Plastic Insert Fittings for Polyethylene (PE) Plastic Pipe)
• Meet or exceed the standard burst requirements in ASTM-D2609
• Threads conform to ANSI B1.20.1
• Plastic insert fittings are not to be used with compressed gas
• Plastic insert fittings must be protected from freezing temperatures where fluid expansion due to freezing could occur
• Operating temperature range: 33-73.4 °F (1-23 °C)
• Plastic insert fittings are intended for cold water applications, including well service and potable water applications
• For operating pressures over the stated maximum burst pressure requirements, or temperatures over 73.4 °F (23 °C), the use of metal insert fittings is highly recommended
