The A2L refrigerants, R-32 and R-454B, have adopted left-handed connections for their tanks. These new refrigerants are categorized as slightly flammable, so left-handed connections were implemented to differentiate them from A1, non-flammable refrigerants. As the industry adopts these new refrigerants, YELLOW JACKET® A2L Tank Adapters and Charging Hoses incorporate left-handed connections so a service technician can safely charge A2L refrigerant systems.

- Conversion adapters from ¼” Female SAE flare left-handed (LH) x ¼” Female SAE flare right-handed for A2L refrigerants
- Easily identified by double ring on tightening knurl for LH connection
- The moisture barrier provides improved resistance to moisture migration which contaminates expensive refrigerants
- 1/4″ PLUS II™ hoses are rated for 4000 psi (276 bar) minimum burst, 800 psi (55 bar) maximum working pressure and an operating temperature of -20º to 180ºF (-28.8º to 82.2ºC)
