Reed Mfg PPJ8S 8" Plastic Pipe Joiner Saddles, (One Pair)

With 28-to-1 leverage, it is easy for one person to join or separate PVC pipe up to 12” solvent cement joints, using the REED Plastic Pipe Joiner. Saddles and this pipe assembly tool are needed with solvent cement connections.

FOR SOLVENT CEMENT CONNECTIONS: The Plastic Pipe Joiner connects solvent cement joints on all pipe schedules, IPS, and water pipe from 4” - 12”. For solvent cement connections, individually sized saddles must be ordered together with the Plastic Pipe Joiner (PPJ) and the plastic pipe joiner fitting attachment (PPJFA). PPJFA is only used for branch attachments. Solvent cement joining with a PVC pipe joiner tool occurs at places such as processing plants, water treatment facilities and industrial locations, among other applications.

NOTE: Connection saddles for solvent cement connections (Plastic Pipe Joiners – Saddles) must be purchased separately.

• Saddles balance the PPJ beam and assist in pulling the two pieces of pipe together.
• Pipe saddles are sold by the pair; one for each piece of pipe.
• For use with REED PPJ when making solvent cement connections.
