This valve is designed with an insert fitting that complies with ASTM F1960 and is suitable for use with PEX tubing using the cold expansion method of joining. It cannot be used with the crimp ring system of joining. 

• Valve body only
• Accepts single-function (13/14), dual-function (17) or dual-function thermostatic (17T) cartridge
• Cartridge ships with trim
• 1/2" PEX cold expansion connections and 1/2" universal outlets with male threads
• Back-to-back capability
